2016 — 2026
Every year the internet briefly agreed on what a page should look like. This is the studio's version of that argument, in order — one design language per year, rebuilt from the ground up as you scroll.

Elevation becomes a language. Cards stack in z-order, corners round to four pixels, and one blue does all the work.

Big type
Almost nothing, said very large. One typeface, one accent, and an unreasonable amount of air around it.

Gradient mesh
Colour stops go soft. Blurred gradients drift behind the interface and the flat panels start to feel thin.

Flat & honest
Before the texture. A sans-serif on white, flat colour, one soft shadow doing all the work. The web as a document.

Neon & dark
Dark stops being a preference and becomes the room. Glow, gradient, and type loud enough to fill all of it.

Soft glass
Blur arrives. Panels stop being panels and start floating — translucent, rounded, faintly friendly.

Brutal & loud
Hard borders, hard shadows, no apology. Anti-polish used as a style — the page pushes back.

Bento & bright
Everything tidy again, but sorted into boxes. A grid of cards, one vivid accent, no wasted pixel.

Monospace everywhere, seams left showing. The terminal look stops pretending to be a metaphor and becomes the interface.

The page stops being a page and becomes a program. Type that responds, light that follows the cursor, code that draws.

Index of the eleven
2016 – 2026On keeping a shape
for eleven years
Eleven years is long enough for a studio to change its mind about everything at least twice. What survives is not a style but a set of habits: ship it, keep the weight down, let the type carry the page, and never decorate something that doesn't need it.
The years above are the styles the studio borrowed and pushed. Some of them aged beautifully. Some of them were, in hindsight, extremely loud. All of them were made by the same studio, on the same internet.
What comes next is written by whatever is fashionable in the year it gets made.

Websites, small apps, prototypes, illustration, covers and strange things that don't fit neatly into a category. Currently accepting new projects.
